70 Year Anniversary and Farewell Event
The 2024/25 season marks the 70 anniversary of Mount Barker Mountain Pool.
The community-built pool in Mount Barker was officially opened on February 9, 1955.
Join us to create lasting family memories.
When: Sunday 9th of February 2025
Time: Gates open 11am - 6pm
Entry: $2 (Under 3 free), Free for Members and Go Swim enrolled children.
Who: All aged event (Under 14's must be with a guardian aged 16+)
The Mount Barker Swim Club will be running a BBQ over lunch time.
Please note this is Drug and Alcohol Free event.

GO SWIM
We are excited to have GO Swim returning for a 6-week block of swimming lessons.
Our learn to swim program designed to engage students with a fun, activity-based style of learning.
Swimming Australia is proud to have launched an extensive swimming program that encourages students of all ages and abilities to learn swimming and water safety skills through experiential and activity-based learning. GOswim swimming and water safety lessons empower students to think, discuss and make informed decisions whilst having fun in and around water.
Our 6 week block of swimming lessons starts Tuesday 14th of January.
Details:
Class length: 30 Minutes
Price: $16 per class (Weekly Direct Debit)
Dates: First class Tuesday 14th of January, Last class Tuesday 18th of February.
Open to all school aged students 5
The primary school level times are as the following:
Jelly fish 4pm and 4.30pm
Platypus 4pm and 4.30pm
Seal 5pm and 5.30pm
Marlin 5pm and 5.30pm
This summer we have a new system called Active world (App) . This is app enables you to purchase season passes as well as enrol in swimming lessons. In the app it will ask you to create an account as the customer, this simply means that you are the responsible person. It will then let you add the children to your account and control their programs, see certificates and achievements and lodge suspensions if you are away.
The times are dependant on your child level.

VAC Swim
VACSWIM SA is centrally managed and administered by Surf Life Saving South Australia
Mountain Pool hosts vac swim every year. This summer we are running BLOCK 2: 02/01/2023 to 06/01/2023
This year we are hositing not only School aged program but also the Pre School program also!
The week of lessons will include water safty and rescue knowladge.
